Wettest Fall Ever

I know a lot of folks were scratching their heads on Saturday morning. Friday night the forecast was for a 20% chance of rain and partly cloudy skies. What we got was a full on low pressure system. Maybe one of the weather forecasters got dumped by his girlfriend this week and wanted everyone else to be miserable too. He knew we would all be looking forward to a sunny weekend since it’s been so rainy, so he made a good forecast even though he knew a major system was headed our way. We all woke up on Saturday and were competely baffled by the steady rain. You won this time mr weatherman, you won this time.
I guess this should make us appreciate the sunny, non-el nino fall’s all the more. And if this keeps up, it could be one heck of a winter. There’s a lot of water in the ground, if it gets cold the early season ice climbing could be excellent. We’ll see.
