Quick Hits Around the Web
Took the morning to ski some fresh powder in Marble, incredible to have over a foot of new snow on May 2nd! Anyways, here’s some fun stuff around the web. Hoping to get out this weekend to put up some new routes, we’ll see what happens!
Alpinist has a good article on new ice climbing near Cody, Wyoming.
The Cleanest Line has an informative piece about down insulation, the different kinds and how it’s used in Patagonia products.
And here in our own backyard, Capitol Peak got skied once again, by another new route. Lou Dawson thinks this will become the “standard” ski route on the peak, although I still have a hard time picturing myself ever wanting to be exposed to that kind of danger. Props to Frank Konsella and crew on getting it done on such a fine line.
