Micah, Ed Visteurs and I put on a Mountain Hardwear event in Oregon together when I was managing an outdoor store in Eugene. We had dinner the night of the show and hung out afterward. My little time spent with him was enough to show me that he was a passionate and warm person. Everytime I saw him at Outdoor Retailer in SLC in the years to follow he always said hi when we saw each other, and always curious about what I was doing and climbing. People such as this aren't abound in this world. Micah will be missed. Based on the reaction from my friends in Boulder, Johnny and Wade will be as well. This small band of brothers died doing what they loved, we should only hope to be so lucky when our time comes.

I am saddened by the loss, may we all be so lucky to die in the pursuit of what gives our lives meaning, joy and purpose.

Jonny will be missed. He was an example for so many- of compassion, humility, and sheer hard will.
