The New and Improved SplitterChoss.com

Well, it took some blood, sweat and tears, but it’s finally here! The new and improved SplitterChoss.com. Aside from a new look, there’s several cool features with this update.

The biggest improvement is that we have merged the two separate sections of the site into one. Now the beta pages are on the same software as the blog, making our lives much easier. Also, we heard the white text on black was hard to read, so we’ve switched it up. Power to the people! Some other things:

Improved photo galleries – We’ll be adding more, but for now you can check out some great vintage stuff from Michael Kennedy.

Avatars – No, not the movie, but the custom ones you can set up at gravatar.com. A nice little touch of personalization for folks who like to leave comments.

Featured Video – We’ll keep this updated with fun stuff we find out there, but for now we have to kick things off with an old classic, the Aid Rant!

Popular/Most comments – A condensed version new to this layout, an easy way to see what folks are reading and commenting on, down on the right side of the page.

Featured Content – This section highlights popular and noteworthy articles.

We’re looking into a photopost option, for user submitted photos, and a few other things, so stay tuned for more!

ATTENTION RSS SUBSCRIBERS: Those of you viewing the site mostly through a feed reader should still get the new posts, but to be safe, it’s best to go and resubscribe by clicking the rss button in the upper right corner. Not an RSS Subscriber already? Get on it!
