Redstone Winterfest Feb 14-17

The Redstone Winterfest is back! Coming in less than two weeks, this promises to be a great event and an excellent time to come check out the ice in Redstone, which is in great shape this year!

There will be gear demos and ice climbing clinics, along with backcountry skiing clinics (the snow is off the hook right now). The folks at Rock and Ice will be printing up a mini-guide to the area, which boasts over 100 ice and mixed climbs.

In addition, for the non-climbers in your family, or those looking to bring some variety to their lives, there will be:

  • Free Sleigh Rides
  • Snow Sculpting
  • 5K Fat Tire Bike Race
  • 5K Snowshoe Race
  • Bonfires
  • Dog Parade
  • Beer Tasting
  • Kids Crafts & Movies
  • Alpine Music
  • Snow Olympics
  • Adventure Films

This promises to be a great event, with Aspen Expeditions, Rock and Ice, CAMP and the AAC all working together to make it a great time. For a full schedule and more info, check out the Aspen Expeditions website.

Also, the organizers are looking for volunteers, so if you’re interested in helping out, shoot us an email via the contact form and we’ll send them your way.
