The Pencil, WI5+
The Pencil sits above the town of Redstone, it’s pretty obvious from the road. Definitely a proud piece of ice, this one can be tough to catch in the right conditions. Last known to have come in thick in 1997, it comes in very rarely. There are several new mixed lines in this vicinity, Survivor and Fear Factor, which link up with the upper ice on the Pencil.
