More Shots Fired in Coal Creek!
Wow, just when you thought you’d seen it all… I got an email this afternoon from a climber who went to scope the ice in Coal Creek and came across a guy shooting at the ice formations hanging from the cliffs up there. Sounds like he got some of them to fall to the road, landing not far from a woman hiking with her dog. The shooter was confronted and said he did that sort of thing all the time. Thankfully his license plate number was recorded before he took off and he’s been reported to the authorities. I’d say it’s likely this is the same fellow that was shooting at Duane as well. Hopefully the police can put an end to this guy’s shennanigans, Coal Creek is a popular spot, not just for climbers, but hikers, skiers, etc, and this guy is clearly endangering the lives of others.
